Flash Player Since Removal Of Support.

Two questions. First of which:
Why the hell would they discontinue the support of one of the most widely used coding languages for online media? Sounds pretty stupid to me.

Secondly, I just bought this phone from some kid on craigslist and my other phone was running liberty 3.0 rom so this is a new issue that I just heard of. I have installed flash 11.1 from an apk, but it won't load anything. I can't even get into the flash settings. This ridiculous, I used to use flash on an hourly basis and this is seriously hindering my desire to even own a phone....

My d4 is on 4.0.4 and is rooted. Please, if this can somehow work, and it is imperative that it does, tell me what I need to do or what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you so much!
