flash failed?

so i downloaded the sbf for my d2g, got the motorolla drivers, got rsdlite 4.8, and when i set it up, the flash fails.

any help? im on windows7 64-bit, i've tried running as administrator, running as xp sp1/2/3, but i can't get it to work. im re-downloading the sbf incase something happened when it went through my external hdd, but if that doesn't work, what can i do? i just spent my christmas money on this phone, and i messed it up, i can't afford another.

Do you have a high speed usb port? If not it wont work.
Nevermind your on 7 so you must have one make sure your usb drivers are set up for high speed though.

Make sure you are using the motoconnect drivers and rsd lite 4.9.
I have had flashes fail and it still* work* so try booting your phone and see what happens.

Also make sure you have the correct sbf.

yea, 4.8 failed, it said corrupted code on the bootloader, but 4.9 worked.
