Fix Permissions

Just wondering if there's any difference in the fix permissions scripts between Rom Manager & UD quick commands.

Also can anyone point me in the direction of how to zipalign? I assume UD is zipaligned & I'm not really sure if I need to but I just assume things could be running smoother.

yes there is a difference. rom manager works best on CM, while ud menu does fix permission based upon ud rom settings.

also the rom is zip alligned and doesnt need to be done again.

alright so ive tried RM, CWM, root tools, root toolbox. busybox is installed.
nothing will fix my permissions on my charge (stock).
any ideas?

How long should Fix Permissions run? I let it run for 20 minutes before I hit the home button. Should it take this long? Do I let it run until it finishes no mater how long?

Won't hurt. My phone doesn't like Chevy' either, however RM usually takes 2.5min, and goes through 131 "files"

I did the Chevy fix permission again and it completed in about 15 minutes and then did RM, which I didn't know was there and so far so good.
