First impressions?

My initial thought as I walked out with the Thunderbolt in my hand was "Good god this thing is huge" (thats what she said ~_^).

But seriously, I guess I just didn't realize how big it would be. That's not a complaint by the way, as I'm satisfied with it and it'll make certain things easier to do on the phone now.
 
I know this has probably been covered somewhere else, but I've heard there isn't a way to disable 4g to save batter life on the Thunderbolt. Is that true? Is that something that can be coded for in a 3rd party app/widget?
