File Manager

I am wondering if anyone knows if the MIUI File manager will work outside of MIUI. I wouldnt think it was tied to the framework, but was curious if it can be pulled out and used on another ROM?? I love the pc sync feature and would like to be able to use it if/when I play with other ROMs

I think it was cyanogenmod 6.1.2 that I tried it on. Just got a force close. I also tried the traffic monitoring. No go, as well.
