Favorite Lists and FB Sync

Any way to create a favorite list but instead of using pictures of people it just lists out the names? I don't have many pictures of people and tough to read the small font under the blank picture icon.

Also side note. Seems like some of my FB people sync up and some of them don't. Any ideas on that one?
