Factory reset & reformat internal storage

Have to send phone back for warranty issue with speaker & trying to do a factory reset & reformat internal storage. The phone will not unmount the internal storage so it can be reformatted, any suggestions?

Google it. I had a problem with my DROID 3 when I had it. For some odd reason it would not unmount like yours is doing. There is a trick to do it. If I am not mistaken I think what it said was to power down the phone. Take out the sd card. Power it back up without the sd card inside the phone. Once it is booted up. Power it down. Insert the sd card back in and power the phone back on. If someone here could correct me, please chime in. Hope this helps.
