facebook error?

So I was using the original FB app that was on the D-Inc then I DLed the updated app .. but .. with both versions, when I try to either save a picture or set a new default picture from a pic that's in my FB album I get this

The application facebook (process com.facebook.katana) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again.

I'm not sure if this thread belongs in the tech forum?

anyone experiencing this?

Yes, many in my area. Is there no one awake at Facebook? I noticed this two weeks ago after an Update was loaded on my Xperra? I could not get into "Friends". Reverted back to older Facebook and it went away, but then I had all sorts of other Content problems. Downloaded the Facebook Update this morning and yes, the "katana" error is back again and I can't get into "Friends". I'd ask the same question..is there anyone else having this difficulty? And, again, isn't there anyone awake at Facebook?

katana..error

Fixed in 154?

My Xperia10 phone indicates the verison of Facebook I just downloaded is: 1811...seems to me the version on my phone might be newer than 154..maybe?

You mentioned to "update it"..how does one force an Update from Facebook on the Xperia? That would be good to know.
Thanks.

Perhaps posting this question in an Xperia forum rather than the Droid Incredible forum would be a good start.

As far as doing it on the DINC, go into the Market, hit Menu, My Apps, and choose the FB app, and select update. It may be the same for your Xperia, it may not be. I really can't say.
