FACEBOOK APP- where's the inbox

the facebook app that came with the phone is ok but if i could send messages it would be better.
i might be missing a really easy thing but i can't find it.

is it even available with the default app?

I don't think it is in the default app. There are other apps you can download such as bloo which might have that. I just use the browser to go to touch.facebook.com.

Bloo lets you view your inbox, but you can't send messages from there. Fb apparently doesn't allow for it in their coding or something.
