wrong, if you go to the source post of the EVo root news: Root on an HTC EVO 4G! grack.com: Matt Mastracci's blog

they state "At this time, we believe that this specific exploit cannot be applied to Incredible."

Doesn't surprise me. If you get a few people together who know what their doing, something good is probably going to happen.
