email pics from gallery using gmail

Is there some technical reason why I would all of a sudden have problems emailing pictures from my gallery using gmail?

Basically nothing happens. The pictures don't get sent. If I go to the inbox they show as "sending" but 30 minutes later they have not been sent. The last time this happened, I turned off the Droid and removed the battery and once I replaced and rebooted, it worked. I shouldn't have to do that every time I want to email a picture.

oh check ur email settings. but no it shouldn't have to be on a reboot
