Email icon - nothing happens

When I touch the email icon, the screen kind of flashes blank and then comes back - nothing happens.

My Droid X is rooted, and I did rename some files ...

Any ideas?

Try rebooting phone.

I uninstalled a touch down trial version and now it seems to be letting me add an account through the home screen messaging notification widget.

I would have thought you could add an account through the email icon too.
