Editing Groups In Droid1 contacts

1. Is there anyway to view/edit group memberships for a contact in Droid1 (unrooted 2.2). I have already grouped all my contacts in Gmail on the web, but they are not shown in my Droid contacts.
2. I would also like to email my Droid groups using the default Droid Gmail client.

I've searched this before. The only way I know how to do it is by typing the names (yes I know) of the contacts.

But K9 I believe does this easily. However you said you wanted to do it with stock email. Sorry, don't have a solution.

Interestingly enough, my wife just got her 2.1 Dinc and she has over 500 contacts in various groups via her gmail, the Incredible synced them all flawlessly into there respective groups in less than 10 minutes, I was impressed

Don't know about #2, but go into contacts, hit the menu key and xheck out display options. It should display a list of sources for your contacts and you can choose to only display certain groups (ie: just family/friends/coworkers but not my contacts).
