Edge Lighting not working.

As the title says. Edge lighting doesn't work. Only in the preview when I set it up. Anyone else having this "problem"?

Yup. Everything set correctly. Doesn't work. I'm on Verizon if that matters. According to the interweb it seems to be a fairly common issue. Also, Trivia Crack Kingdoms notifications aren't working either. Weird.

Weird... Maybe try clearing edge setting data and cache in apps then reboot phone and set up again ... Probably a long shot but worth a try

I don't have Edge Screen anywhere in the apps or data usage either.

Went to Verizon store to return my Note 5 tonight and brought it up to the sales guy. He tried to get it to work to no avail. He advised me to see what happens but I should bring it back and exchange it. He also tried the Smart Alert (vibrate when picked up with a missed call/text) and it didn't work either. Probably gonna take it back.

Hmmm.. I have a T-Mobile S8+ I was not thinking it was only for this model...sorry can't be of better help..

I got it working. I switched back to the native apps for text and email. Was using Verizon's Message+ and gmail. I like Message+ because it works over Wifi if needed. Oh well. Fancy lights or texts that go through? Tough decision....

Also, the smart alert works now as well.

Stock message works for me but not email, how did you get email working?

I honestly don't have an answer for you. I just made the native email app the default email app. Sorry I can't be a better help.
