Easy root 2.2 issue

So when I was on 2.1 I used easy root and it worked fine, when the update came I forgot to unroot before installing the update. Now in easy root I cant unroot to remove the SuperUser Permissions icon even though I lost root when I updated to 2.2. How can I remove this so that I have a totally stock 2.2? I dont have a windows pc at home, but I can use the ones at school but I cant download programs and run them. Any help would be great! thanks.

And then when I have it rooted, how to I remove the SuperUser Icon? and then once im rooted and that icon is removed I can unroot, correct?

My main goal is to remove the SuperUser Icon lol I have a problem that occurred after the update and need to take my phone back.

Im in the same exact boat here dude. I need to return my phone as well and im getting a replacement delivered saturday so I need to unroot pronto and it won't work for me either. Easy root that is.

the sbf will get you back to a stock image (more than a factory reset will) but you need a windows or linux machine to flash sbfs..

True I forgot about the pc thing. Can't you go into root explorer and go into the xbin folder and delete su, busybox and the others that were loaded to give su permission? I've never tried but its just a thought

so what happens when ur using root explorer and u delete one then it freezes bc it doesnt have root access?

Well if it makes it easier I can borrow my little brothers pc when he's not home and fix it haha. Well what else does easy root use when it roots? sorry im a newb haha used to this blackberry stuff. I could try deleting it from root explorer but don't i need to be rooted to do that?
