so bad idea thus far lol.....the rom installed, then the red moto logo appeared after reboot followed immediately by the bootloader error screen. sbf'd back to stock rom, now rooting again, etc....

its for the dx, just assumed that it would run like other dx roms that will run on the d2....like rubix

No, they are pretty similar but they do differ. It wont work.

Because that has the kernel update in it. That kernel is configured for the dx. You will have to download the d2 version of GB in order to run it on a d2....

oh yea i know...i was running the d2 gb rooted leak. thats why i am confused. maybe because the drewgaren rom was deodexed and at that time the leak gb for d2 i was running wasnt the deodexed leak?

edit - wait are you saying that the froyo kernel for the d2 and dx were the same, but the leak gb kernels are now different?
