Moto Droid using Handcent as the default text message app. I'm getting tw notifications when a text message arrives. One from Handcent and one from the stock message app (I believe) I have check multiple times to make sure all notifications in the stock app are turned off. I uninstalled Handcent and tested just the stock app and got the one notification. I then reinstalled Handcent and made sure it was the default message app. Started getting the two notifications again. When the massage comes in the Handcent app sends it to the screen. If I swipe the notifications I can see the notification for the Handcent text and another for the stock app. Either one I press takes me to Handcent. Functionally it's OK but just really anoying.
