Dumb question

How do I changed my themes on a rooted phone? I downloaded the theme chooser and manage to find something that actually goes on a bionic, but I don't know how to apply it. I think i am being dumb about it. Sorry.

...apply the theme. Use (enter theme name here) as default. Once you install theme and hit home button this should pop up
