DSPManager / audio EQ

I have an application that I manually installed called DSPManager that came from another ROM (Ultimate Droid, I believe) and I was wondering how/if I can get it to work with Chevy's SS4.8 ROM. It is installed, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything except running the background and taking up memory. I can't hear any audio difference when I tweak the settings.

Basically, I am looking for an audio plugin that contains an EQ that can be used for the phone as a whole as opposed to just an eq inside a music applications.

Any help would be appreciated...

The DSP should function but not as a stand alone app, you have to install both parts, the second part makes a change to an audio file within the system and needs to be installed as an update.zip

Actually, the DSP program you're running came from CyanogenMod. Works great on that. If you want to run it, try switching ROMs, but save your backup in case you don't like it.

Oh, didn't see that link, TP. Good catch. Means if I ever get away from the blue-green madness I can still have better-sounding tunes! Sweet!
