Dropping Your Droid 2

I was on the toilet playing angray birds, it almost went into the toilet but a karate chop from hell saved it...it was about four feet in the air and somehow it managed to land on a pile of dirty towels. I thanked god and then peed myself(not literally)

Karate chop from hell. Lmao. So easy to picture.

Im wanting a case my belt has to pass through. Keeps coming off my belt while in the case. Dropped it three times onto a hard surface now. Ouch!

I've never seriously dropped my phone on any hard surface. The worst that has happened to it is it fell off my bed onto the carpet, about a 4 foot drop, no damage at all. Second worst would probably be that it fell from about a foot off the ground on hardwood floor. No scratches from what I can tell.

My brother dropped his in the sink while getting water for our cat. He was pissed but he had insurance. Glad I haven't dropped mine yet.

Time to search for a 12 step for your angry birds addiction, no?

So funny...I play games or search for new apps all the time on the porcelain throne. Haven't dropped it in there yet (wouldn't want to have to pull it back out...yeesh :icon_eek:!

Have dropped it outside and inside on a couple occasions, but for some strange reason my reactions are lightning fast when it comes to protecting the phone from a fall (not for anything else ). I somehow manage to poke my foot out at just the right time and turn a 5 foot drop into a few inch bounce off the top of my shoe. Never even got a scratch - even on concrete :icon_ banana:.

Cases like that are getting harder and harder to find. Most now have squeeze clips which are OK, but still manage to come loose - usually during bending over for instance. Military and Police supply stores are a good resource for such a case as military and police and belt mounts are nearly all pass-through for the belt.

Fiancee got pissed and threw the one I bought for her at the wall. It hit the wall and fell to the tile floor. The battery came out and everything. Not a scratch on it surprisingly.

Lol, if it had been mine you'd be correct. Luckily for her, it was the one that I had bought for her.

Yeah, I caught that, but it didn't sound as funny if I said "Nobody screws with your Droid!" Guess I could have said something like..."That's the last dollar I spend on you, ungrateful b1+(h."

I scared the hell out of myself yesterday.

I crashed my bike, tore my arm up pretty bad. I hit a patch of moss on a wooden bridge and ate pavement in a big way. The worst part was, when I stopped skidding and realized what had happened, I looked down to see my beautiful Droid laying face-down on the pavement with the keyboard slider half open. My heart sank. I carefully picked it up and pressed the power button, and to my enormous relief the screen came on like nothing had happened. I slid the unlock slider and checked the screen for cracks or scrapes. Nothing. Only a tiny ding on the upper corner of the blue back case.

It must have bounced out of my belt holster near the end of my pavement slide. I'm going to buy it a new screen protector and possibly a new holster with a snap instead of a magnet.
The only thing Droid Doesn't... is grow back

I drop my D2 from about waist-high at least once every other day. Me having the butteriest fingers on earth, its alleged durability was part of why I got it.
