Dropping Your Droid 2

You are correct sir.

By the images though it looks like you have access to everything.

In that case, you are correct sir. However, I'll wait and see an actual review after it's released. The worst part so far is it's not compatible with the extended battery!

Too true. I can't remember off the top of my head if any of their past versions were available in extended battery versions.

It's actually already been confirmed by Otterbox that it will not be supported. It's in their Q&A below the actual availability page.

I couldn't tell from the pictures if the keyboard would be available. I saw several droid 1 cases that prevented the sliding hardware keyboard from being used, such a pity, the D2 keyboard is the main reason Im so loyal.

Dropped my Original Droid in a parking lot, the brunt was taken by the metal edge of the main frame around the KB, it was still in its case when it came off my belt (my daughter was being held, and she kicked at it ...)

Felt bad, but goos as well as other than a small indent, the color was ok and it survived!

I was on the toilet playing angray birds, it almost went into the toilet but a karate chop from hell saved it...it was about four feet in the air and somehow it managed to land on a pile of dirty towels. I thanked god and then peed myself(not literally)

2nd time i dropped my droid 1 it broke, screen pure black and wouldn't receive calls anymore... so i bought a droid 2 and have only dropped it once so far haha

I dropped mine onto a cement floor covered by a rug- broke the corner of that $30 case/holster from Verizon. Phone seemed ok. Then I dropped it twice more and noticed there was dust under the glass so I exchanged it for a brand new one since I only had it for a week and a half, AND Verizon was kind enough to send me a new case free of charge! Not planning on dropping this one!

In school, I was running and, my droid 2 slipped out of my pocket and it slid down a relatively short incline. No scratches at all. I've also unintentionally bumped my droid a couple of times.

Fiancee got pissed and threw the one I bought for her at the wall. It hit the wall and fell to the tile floor. The battery came out and everything. Not a scratch on it surprisingly.
