Dropping calls

I have a droid x and while im talking on it I'll get a text and I lose the person im talking to. Does anybody know why?

You can always dial* 22899, then reboot the phone. Might help, if that doesn't work you could always do a factory reset...that will wipe the phone but may fix that issue.

Do you ever drop calls otherwise ... are you sure it is the receiving of txt that is causing the problem

I've received around 15 texts while talking and no dropped calls yet.
