dropping boot sounds for R2D@

how can i get the boot sounds silenced for my R2D2? Even with the phone set to silent or vibrate, if i turn it off and then back on, R2 makes his adorable, but loud, chrips and whirs. i can't seem to find the setting to turn this off.

Hi. I'm new to these forums but I was wondering, did you ever find a solution to the R2D2 droid startup sounds? I love the sounds, but it does make it a bit inconvenient when you cannot silence it if needed. Thanks!
