DroidX + Gmail (via IMAP) = Authentication Error

Starting yesterday, I began getting an "Authentication Error" on the email account I set up for gmail using IMAP. I tried deleting the account and re-creating it, but I can't get past the "Authentication Error".

My incoming settings:
Server: imap.gmail.com
Port: 993
Use secure connection: checked
Verify Certificate: checked

My outgoing settings:
SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465
Use secure connection: checked
Verify Certificate: checked

Are my setting wrong?

I guess my settings were ok, and Einstein would categorize me as insane. Because now, after changing nothing, suddenly I can send/receive mail from that gmail account using IMAP.

Go figure.

It gives me that error once in a while too. I just type in my password and it's okay again.

I get that occasionally as well (3 different Gmail accounts).

I have Verify Certificate: UN-checked and it seems to work better.
