Droid Xyboard Tablet pages just went live on VZW's website

full retail prices have pretty much guaranteed low sales, IMHO. You can't price Android tablets like the iPad yet, you need to develop a tablet market first. I am not saying they need to be super cheap but 600 bucks for a 16gb Tablet is outrageous. I can buy a laptop with much better specs for cheaper than that and it's just as portable.

wow looking at the 10" tabs now, they priced themselves right out of the market with these. $900 full retail for the 64gb model. :money:

I picked up an Asus Transformer (non-prime) for $249 and a Toshiba Thrive for $279 on Black Friday and three Asus A500's for $229 each on Cyber Monday. I would not have gotten them if they were priced more than $300.

yeah that's a good price point for them, IMO. They should always be priced around that.
