Droid X won't send Verizon email anymore

Hi,

My wife's Droid X can no longer send messages via the Email app through her Verizon email account using smtp. I have verified the settings on her account, but the messages just go to her Sent folder and never reach their destination.

In addition, she no longer gets incoming emails pushed to her phone - she has to do a manual refresh. The phone is set to refresh every 15 minutes, but she never sees new messages unless she does a refresh.

Any suggestions? The only thing I can think to do at this point is to reset the phone to the factory settings.

Go to settings> applications> manage applications. Find the app and clear data and cache then reopen the app. This usually fixes sync issues.
