Droid x video playback error!!!!

i just took a video on my motorola droid x a couple days ago. when i went to watch it after taking it, i opened camera roll in the bottom left corner of the camcorder and the icon was a gray square with a film roll and play logo, when i clicked it, the video looked as if it was going to play (it was in the video watching screen) but then it brought up a message saying "error, file cannot be displayed or played.", im fed up with this, i have 2 or 3 videos that i cant just take again that wont play. PLEASE HELP!!!
p.s. i just connected to my computer and it says quicktime doesnt understand the video
PLEASE HELP I REALLY NEED THIS VIDEO!
