I'm thinking of switching my Droid 2 global for my buddies Droid X, he wants the slide out keyboard and the dual bands, and I want the hdmi and there's a lot more custom roms and modding I can do with the DX, but my question is, when looking up the specs on phonescoop.com it says it has a capacitive touch display but doesn't say anything about multitouch, im assuming its just an error on phonescoops part, cause I don't see the DX not having a multitouch display. Am I correct in my assumption that it does have multitouch?

Does it come with the hdmi cord, cause im assuming I can't use the same hdmi cord I use on my xbox360 and PS3, I think I need a micro-hdmi to standard hdmi cord right

at the moment im playin some "Chrono Trigger" on my snes emulator on my D2G and it just dawned on me, that if I do get the Droid X, then I will have to use the stupid virtual keypad, which annoys me a lil cause it gets in the way of being able to see everything on screen, and for fast paced games like metroid and castlevania, contra, etc etc, that's a problem, I wish there was a way around that. Cause its making me think about just keeping my D2G, cause I use my emulators alot! I rarely use my slideout keyboard except for emulators so that's the only reason I would miss having it. I wonder if there is a way to get my logitech pc controller (its pretty much a ps1 controller without the analog sticks) to work on android phones!

I believe for emulators you can use attached controllers. Not sure though.

Well I was just testing out using the virtual keypad on my gba emulator. I played castlevania harmony of dissonance which is fast paced and I guess it isn't too bad. Take a lil getting used to bit if you set the location of the buttons in the right spot it doesnt block the screen with your fingers near as bad. The only thing that does suck is. Trying to get to the L and R buttons quickly. Especially in castlevania for when you need to hit R quickly to backdash and avoid being hit.

Is that the app that allows you to connect a Wiimote to your android phone? Cause that would be ****ing dope! I love the app that let's me control winamp on my PC, and I also have an app that let's me use my Droid as a wireless controller for my pc, which I use that when playing emulators on my pc!

Remember the x has a bigger screen too

That's true, didn't think of that, its like 4.3" diagonal if I remember correctly, and the D2G is 3.7" if I remember that correctly as well. I've been playing my emulator with the virtual keypad for the last couple days just so I can get used to it. Im currently playing Metroid:Fusion, and it was tough at first, but im getting used to it. Should be getting my DX in the mail today or tomorrow at the latest, but this is my first time buying a phone from verizon online, so I don't know how good they are about actually delivering when they say.

Now, Droid X plus Wiimote plus Real HDMI equals virtual console where ever you go!

Found a video of it.
