Is there a way to delete the pre installed that come on the phone when you purchase it? ie, blockbuster, etc.

Yeah, there are a few threads on here about it. You will have to root.

Keep in mind you have to have that stuff installed in order to get ota updates in the future.

An easy way to get rid of them and still be able to get them back in the future is "Titanium Backup paid version". With titanium you can "freeze" each app you don't want. When you do that they will disappear from the app drawer. When you need them back someday you can unfreeze them.

Yes you will need to be rooted. Also only the paid version of titanium has the freeze function.

That works too!

If you don't intend to root and flash Roms it may be best to leave them alone. That way you don't have to worry about backups and future ota updates.
