Droid X Linpack score on Froyo 2.2

So why does the Droid X and Droid 2 only get score of 14 and change when running linpack? Has it something to do with the hardware or maybe motorola hasn't written the drivers well for the device? I hope there will be improvements on the score with a later update.

The linpack apps doesn't have the proper OMAP kernels and it gives a false reading (or something along those lines). There is a video on Android central showing the Droid 2 benchmarks and it explains this. I'll try to find it.

One pretty major caveat, however, is that the Linpack test doesn't appear to be working properly with the Droid and Droid 2, both of which use TI OMAP processors. The Nexus One and Evo 4G are scored just fine. You'll see what we mean, and if someone wants to explain things to us, we'll be at the bar.
