Droid X Froyo Unlock screen

So in the 2.2 update for the droid x they have the same unlock screen as the Droid 2 which looks really plain. I don't like it and would rather have the original that came with stock 2.1, is there a way to do that? Thanks

You could use WidgetLocker from the marketplace. Its a pretty nice program that lets you change your locker slider. You can have the option for the original DX locker, Sense, iPod (yuck) or WidgetLocker's own special slider.

I am having MAJOR issues with 2.2's lock screen...

With 2.1, I could either have the pattern unlock and shut off the slider unlock, or have just the slider unlock.

With 2.2, its either BOTH the pattern unlock AND the slide unlock, or turn screen lock off. You cant JUST use slider or pattern, its either both or none. I have a huge problem with this...

Same - I'd like to choose 1 or the other - not both or none.

Pretty sure I read that this is caused by having the pattern lock enabled when you do the update? Not everyone is experiencing this...

I suppose one option, is to revert to 2.1 via the .sbf, set it back to slider unlock only, re-root, hard reset, and re-upgrade.. ?
I'm pretty sure that'd fix it. Unfortunately, that's the only "sure thing" I've got for ya though. :(

**Edit: After some thought, I suppose if someone happened to know what the file/dir is that holds the security/lock config/info.. you might be able to get a file from someone that is working correctly, and do some in depth comparing... ? (Or flat out replace it?)...

I'm sure neither of these are what you wanted to hear.. BUT, if someone does happen to run across a solution, please post it for others that are having this issue!

My leaked Froyo DROID X unlock bar is painfully slow. The 2.1 bar was much snappier. Anyone else with the same issue?

Ummm... Froyo is defaulted this way. I had it on my Droid 1, and yes it does require the slider in addition to the pattern or pin.

Sorry that is the way they built Froyo from what I saw on my Droid 1.

I am not planning to root my new X and put the 2.2 that is currently out.
There are too many issues with it to trust it at this point.
