I use one of the boot logo replacers from the market and it uses the bin images by themselves (it doesn't need the zip files to flash). Since most of these threads don't just have the bin files sitting around I've been going through, unpacking the archives and grabbing the bin files as needed. The reasoning behind this is that once I have the bin files extracted, I can switch logos with about 2 clicks instead of a bunch more that are required when flashing using bootstrap.

Here's my question: within each archive, there are two bin files: "logo.bin" and "rdl.bin". The "rdl.bin" file is always larger and I'm assuming it's nothing I really need, but there's a side of me that's always going to wonder if it's the same image with a bit more resolution. Please clear this up for me: what is that "rdl.bin" file? Thanks!

Honestly, I don't know what the rdl file is. Team Black Hat put together the zip file, I just replace the logo.bin file. So for sure it has nothing to do with the image

If you have an image or want to find one and post it that would be great. I can do a quick Google image search but I usually prefer to let you pick one so you know exactly what your gonna get.

Its a little small but it shouldn't look too bad. The logo size is 182 pixels tall and your pic is 120 so I would either stretch the image, making it a tad blurry, or leave it the same size, which would be look tiny on the phone. If you have a bigger one, that would work better otherwise I will stretch this one.

I just got redirected over from another thread. They were creating custom boot animations, but you are replacing the motorola "M" altogether. I like...

Can you work this one out for me with "Fade to Black" edges? Its my company logo...

Also, does this replace the boot animation too? Or just the "M"?
