Droid x and gingerbread tether

I'm on miui.us 9.23 and new tether keeps force closing it worked on 9.16. (Wug fresh android tether)

Any known issues with latest version, i put it on my x with liquid 2.6 and when enabling it su fails (error says enabled but with errors) and dont work, it shows it is active but its not. when you stop tethering su is approved andd closes any ideas? Thanks!!
