Droid x 3g mobile hotspot.

I got the plan of 2g for $20 more ..in my plan ...but idk if other people have this problem ...everytime I connect my computer or ps3 on the internet using the hotspot it disconnect a lot ...I have go back on my and turn it on again ...or the hotspot still on but its not send nothing ...how can I resolve this? Or should I take it back to verizon? Thanks
