Droid won't ring through Headphones anymore

I reset my Droid a couple weeks ago and after I reset I noticed that when I receive a call or a text when I have my headphones plugged in, the phones external speaker is where the ringtone is emitted rather than my headphones. This didn't used to be the case before I reset the phone. Does anyone know how to make the phone ring through the headphones? I can't find any setting that will let me switch this.
