Droid stopped notifying of emails

Hi,

I've had my Droid for 6 or so months now, and all of a sudden, it just stopped notifying me of new incoming emails. I have made sure that email fetch is every 15 minutes and I marked yes on data push. What have I missed?

Check the settings inside your Email/Gmail app and make sure notifications are on in the app itself.

I just noticed that it has stopped looking for new emails, I guess I need to start there. What should my setting be? data push on:? fetch 15 minutes. what else?
