Droid shut off and would not boot

Hello,
Had my Moto Droid for 2 months and love it. Last night the thing shut off and would not turn on. I pulled the battery and everything is fine now. Did this ever happen to anyone else?

I would chalk it up to a hard reboot! Sometimes things happen

Yes. Twice, I believe, since early December. Now if my Windows PC's could match that performance I'd be a happy camper. :icon_ banana:
