Droid Pro Won't boot, gets stuck at the red eye screen, then gets hot!

Ok, so this is my wife's phone and after letting our 7 year old play with it, she could not get the display to work.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
I have tried restarting it many times and nothing past the Droid Red Eye. Please help.
