Droid powers up, but wont stay on .

I have the original motorola droid . I woke up yesterday and it had to small blobs on the screen like it had water in it . Ive never dropped it in water or anything close . Now, I can plug it in and the start up screen comes on and sometimes the unlock screen will come on . When I try to unlock it, it turns off and starts the process over . What is it doing and what can I do to fix it ?

Every smartphone comes with a color changing tab. Pop ur battery out and look to see what color ur tab is. When it gets wet it will change colors. Mine is Red and urs should be too if its not wet.
