Droid not charging while plugged in

for some reason my phone no longer will charge while plugged in, but will charge using the same cable to the usb.

It just started happening a couple days ago and i haven't done anything major with the phone in that time.

I did have Sapphire 1.0 on the droid when i noticed it, but for the sake of ruling things out I switched to the Stock 2.2 root in Rom Manager.. still does it there as well....

driving me nuts since it takes forever to charge the phone now. I have tried several different outlets at home and work......nothing..

Funny, I'm having the same problem. The issue began two days ago for me.

anything special you recall to make this happen? i can't think of anything else other than buying a new plug-in adapter and seeing if thats it.

it doesn't matter the ROM, at least for me. just up and quit charging while plugged in.. I might have to revert back to stock and take it in if we can't figure something out.
