Droid keeps going to clock screen

Ever since the 2.2 update, my droid has been going to the clock screen everytime I take it out of its case. So, if I get a call, it will go to the clock screen and I cant answer it, or if I have an app open. It seems to only happen when I take it out of my hip case.......could it be because the phone case is magnetic??

I have no clue, but I'm going to say yea. Leave the case at home for a few days and see if the problem persists. If it stops, you've found the cause. If it keeps up even without the case, thats really strange and I would take it back to the store for a swap.

It is the phones case, my droid1 used to do that when I had a magnetic case.

Its a magnet in the phone that turns on the home or car dock for the phone. So when you take it out of the case the phone thinks you placed it in one of the docks. You need to get a non-magnetic case to stop your problem.

It is definitely the magnetic case, either put it in the case the other way around, or get a new case without magnets
