droid/gcal sync problem when editing an instance of a recurring event on droid side

When I set up a repeating event in gcal, it syncs fine with droid. When I edit a single instance of that recurring event using gcal, it also syncs fine in droid. But when i edit a different instance of that same recurring event in the droid it does not sync back to gcal.

When I set up a repeating event in droid, it syncs fine with gcal. But when I edit it in either gcal or droid it does not sync to the other one.

Mobile is Motorola droid x2; laptop is running Vista and my calendar is in a Google Apps account (so it is essentially a Google calendar in my Google Apps domain).

Any suggestions? Thanks!Tim
