Calendar will not display recurring events! HELP

If I create a recurring event using Google Calendar on my computer or even created directly from my Droid 2, the event will not display. I can create any event in any of my created calendars from anywhere and it will sync perfectly unless that event is recurring.

Can anyone help me fix this.

I should note that I have tried clearing the "Calendar Storage" data.

Does no one else have this problem or know what I'm talking about? I can create single events just fine and there is no problem with them syncing. If I create an event with any kind of recurrence then it disappears off of my phones calendar. The events will still display on my google calendar if I access them through the browser or with my computer. What is even more annoying is that I shared all my calendars with my fiancee and she can see all of my events just fine, even the recurring ones. Please help me correct this on my phone.
