Droid freezing on home screen

Everytime I get out of an app or the web browser, my phone freezes. None of my apps will show up for 30seconds or more. Everytime I talk to verizon, they just replace the phone with a refurbished one. I'm on my 3rd phone and they all seem to do the same thing. I don't have many apps anymore. Does anyone else have this problem? What should I do?

My boss and I are both having the same issue.. someone please help! this all started with froyo. battery pulls are annoying!

Yeah after that froyo 2.2 update is when mine started getting worse also. Verizon said there was supposed to be an update that would fix all the bigs, but after my last update it freezes even longer. Its getting very annoying!
