Droid causes my laptop to shut down

I have the HTC incredible with software version 2.2

When my phone touches my laptop, it causes the laptop screen to shut off or go into hibernate mode. Why is this?

I just ran into this issue at work, does anyone have any information about this? It's only on Vostro 3550 laptops adn only with the HTC Incredible.
