Droid Camera Button

I'm disappointed because I'm pretty sure this happened because my new droid is a refurbished one. My original droid I had to send in, and I got this one in the mail. I take very good care of my phone, so I don't know how this happened. I'm thinking of just coloring it black, but someone said it didn't look good.

Doesn't have anything to do with being refurbished. I bought my Droid brand new from Best Buy on release day and all the gold paint has flaked off the camera button.

Damn I thought I was lucky that my paint stayed on for so long and then I saw the white button when I went to undock my phone. I might end up going at it with a black sharpie or something because the white plastic looks so cheap.

I tried the black sharpie and it had worn off within a couple weeks of applying it. If it's possible to remove the camera button and apply some sort of black paint that is made for plastic, that would probably be the best option.

This really shouldn't be a problem to begin with. Hey Motorola, don't use WHITE plastic please. If it was black plastic to being with, it really wouldn't look that bad once the gold paint wore off.
