Droid App for Blackberry Messenger?

Is there an app that will allow me to talk to my friends who have Blackberry messenger?

No.

BBM is exclusive to Blackberry.

Apparently not. If BBM lets you chat with users on other messenger services like Yahoo Messenger or AIM or GTalk you could install one of those and talk to your friends, otherwise they'll need to install another messenger service on their phones.

LiveProfile works similar to, but is not compatible with, BBM.

Really? I use GChat for everything and have that on my Droid, so I can talk to BBM people with my GChat??? I will do some searching but I never knew this. I thought you could only talk to AIM people on GChat.

My wife has a bb. You cannot use gtalk to talk to a bbm user.

No, you cannot. BBM is exclusive to BB's. The details are discussed in many existing threads if you're really interested in them.

As mentioned above, they would need to use something cross-platform just as you would.

You can however have BBM users download gTalk and then go that route.
