Droid and Supertooth Voice Bluetooth

I purchased a Supertooth Voice Handsfree Kit yesterday. Easy to set up, good sound on my end. However, others report horrible echoes of their own voice that is over what I say to them. Anyone have any experience or suggestions on how to fix this? Otherwise, it's going back.
