Droid 4 will not turn on/will not hold charge

After performing a factory reset on my droid 4, it will not turn on and will not charge. The M screen comes on if I plug it in the wall, but as soon as I unplug it the phone shuts off and will not turn on. I have tried getting into the recovery, no luck. I have left it plugged in for hours, no luck. It simply does the same thing, just sits there with a big old red M while plugged in. It was in perfect condition when I performed the reset, and I was going to sell it, but now, it will not work...any thoughts here? I need help!

rooted/ rom'd ?
may need to flash .xml with rsd lite

so no it was not rooted or rom'd?

i would retry wiping data, factory reset using the 2nd method

if that does not work
flash xml file with rsd lite
rsd lite will completely rewrite the system files
