The LED flash on my wife's Droid 3 just stopped working. It doesn't light for a camera flash (though the camera itself still works), or with any of the various flashlight apps that are supposed to illuminate the LED. The notification LEDs on the front of the phone still work normally. I know LEDs are very durable and so I assumed it was a system issue, but even after a factory reset, it still doesn't light up. Next stop is a warranty replacement, but I would rather keep this new device than get a refurbished unit from Motorola's notorious warranty replacement program, so I would much appreciate any ideas for fixes. The phone is rooted.
